Portugal ease past Georgia
Portugal put their only warm-up fixture before Euro 2008 to good use with a 2-0 win over Georgia.
Portugal, who play Turkey, Czech Republic and co-hosts Switzerland in Group A this summer, had the game wrapped up at half-time.
Joao Moutinho opened the scoring on 19 minutes before Simao's penalty just before the interval concluded the scoring.
Sporting midfielder Moutinho controlled a pass on his thigh outside the area before lashing a volley past Georgia keeper George Loria into the corner of the net.
Simao added a second on the stroke of half-time after he was initially felled by Loria.
Although Portugal dominated possession throughout the second half they failed to add to their first-half tally.
